How is ProspeQ different from a CRM?
We sit before the CRM, not against it. The research, the ICP scoring, the brief - that's all upstream work that happens in ProspeQ. Your CRM (Pipedrive, HubSpot, Salesforce) keeps running the deal lifecycle. When the brief is ready, one click drops it in. Every record that lands in the CRM is better for the prep.
Who's ProspeQ for?
Technical B2B sales teams: industrial automation, instrumentation, industrial sales, DevOps and security software, construction and engineering. If your sales cycle has 3 or more stakeholders and runs 90+ days, ProspeQ fits. If you sell self-serve software with a 7-day cycle, we're not for you.
What does a "brief" look like?
Two pages, structured. Top: who they are, what they do, the buying signals we found, the ICP score and why. Middle: the people - their roles, what they likely care about, what to lead with. Bottom: 3 outreach openings tuned for different roles. Every claim has a footnote citation back to the public source.
Data & security
Where is my data stored?
Australian-hosted. Postgres database, encrypted at rest. Per-tenant isolation enforced at the database layer (Row-Level Security) - your queries can only ever see your data, even if there's a bug in our application code. Backups replicate within Australia for disaster recovery. We do not move tenant data outside the country.
Do I need my own AI keys?
Yes - bring your own key. Claude, OpenAI or Gemini all work. Keys sit encrypted in your tenant; we can't read them. Your AI provider bills you directly, ProspeQ pricing covers the platform only. No markup, no surprise AI charges from us. You pick which model runs on your data, and you can swap any time.
Can I export my data?
Yes, anytime, from Settings → Backups. One click produces a .zip with companies, contacts, prospects, attribution, settings - everything. CSV per table, JSON for settings. Yours forever. We also run nightly automated backups locally and weekly off-site, with 30-day local retention and 12-week off-site retention.
What about privacy & the Australian Privacy Principles?
We treat APP compliance as a baseline. We collect only the data needed to operate the service. We don't sell or share your tenant data with anyone, ever. Public-source research (LinkedIn, company websites, ASX filings) is what AI processes - your private contact lists never leave your tenant.
Integrations & data import
What integrations work today?
Today: LinkedIn CSV import, tradeshow exhibitor list import (any CSV or XLSX, with auto-mapping). Coming Q3 2026: Pipedrive, HubSpot, Salesforce - outbound first (push briefs into your CRM), with deal-stage sync inbound. Use the "Notify me" button on each integration tile in-app and we'll email when yours is live.
How do I import tradeshow data?
Drop your file (CSV, XLSX, or TSV) into Marketing → Tradeshow. We auto-detect the columns from a 10-row preview. Map any leftovers in a single screen. Save the mapping as a per-team template so next year's show is one click. Different shows ship data differently - the wizard handles the formatting so your marketing team doesn't have to.
Can I track marketing → manager → sales handoff?
Yes. Each user has a function (marketing / manager / sales / unset) on top of their workspace role. Marketing imports leads. Managers review and assign to sales reps. Sales reps work the deals. Every prospect carries the full chain - when the deal closes, the marketing dashboard shows which tradeshow booth the deal traces back to. The loop closes.
Team & access
How do roles work?
Two axes. Workspace role (owner / admin / member) controls who can manage billing, invite people, change settings. Job function (marketing / manager / sales) controls which queues and dashboards appear. Both are independent - your sales manager can be a workspace admin and have function = manager.
Can I invite teammates?
On Team and Scale plans, yes. Owners and admins can invite via email. Invited users sign up with their work email and land directly in your workspace. No waiting on us. Up to 10 seats on Team, unlimited on Scale.
Do you offer SSO?
SAML SSO and org-wide MFA enforcement are on the Scale plan. Audit log export is on the same plan, which is what enterprise procurement teams typically ask for.
